In a surprising partnership that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
